Game Of Thrones Slot Machine Review

Game of Thrones slot machine from Microgaming, is of course based on the hugely popular HBO TV series that took the world by storm in 2011. The mobile slot looks great, using the family icons from the series on its 5 reels, although we feel that the inclusion of the characters might have been nice. There are 243 paylines, the jackpot is 5,000x, amnd there is a free spins bonus of 18 free spins and a 5x multiplier to create some big wins. Game of Thrones Slot Review & Game Bonus

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, you’ll be aware of the global phenomenon that is Game of Thrones; the TV drama based on the books by George R.R. Martin, unsurprisingly, given the show’s huge popularity, it was only a matter of time before a software provider bought the rights to the franchise, and Microgaming slots have done just that in the shape of a new(ish) five-reel, 243-payline Game of Thrones slot that offers players the chance to claim their place on the Iron Throne.

Disappointingly, the characters from the show do not feature as symbols in the Game of Thrones slot machine, with the usual array of playing card symbols instead accompanied by icons representing each of the major family houses in the series as well as the show’s logo and the Iron Throne scatter symbol.

A Song Of Fire And Ice

Of the slots unique symbols, the Game of Thrones logo has the highest value and can trigger the maximum 5,000x jackpot when it appears on all five reels. The symbol also acts as a wild and can be substituted for any other icon barring the Iron Throne in order to complete one or more paylines.

Should players find one or more Iron Throne scatter symbols anywhere on the gameboard, a bonus feature will be activated that allows them to choose from one of the four main houses. Each house has its own unique number of free spins, a differing prize multiplier and stack of bonus wild symbols.

When a payout has been secured, players are also given the chance to gamble their winnings in the slot’s coinflip feature – a simple heads or tails picking game that doubles the current prize and can be played multiple times. Be warned, however, that an incorrect pick means you forfeit all winnings.

Game Of Thrones Slot Machine Reviews

Reviewed on January 19, 2020. Everyone knows or watched famous Game of Thrones tv show, personally my favorite and having a MicroGaming releasing a slot about it is just a dream coming true. The slot has 5 reels and 243paylines with an RTP of 94.86% and 95.00% depending on a casino you are playing on. The Game of Thrones slot machine is based on the television series which has so far aired for five series (with the sixth set to air in 2016) however the TV series was actually based on the fantasy novels A Song of Ice and Fire written by George R. Martin, with the fantasy drama being set in friction Westeros and Essos and boasting various.

Though it was released to much fanfare in 2014, the Game of Thrones slot fails to capture the imagination of the hit series. Despite not being a bad slot in its own right, you can’t help but feel Microgaming could have done a lot more with such rich subject matter.
